摘要：
在近代天津与周边区县良好的经济互动过程中，作为其经济交流中转站的集镇经历了一系列的发展变迁，有的旧集镇继续繁荣，有的却走向衰落；而有新的集镇顺势兴起，有的则发展成为专业化集镇。区位优势是影响集镇发展变迁的最有利因素，局势的动荡不安乃至战乱是影响集镇发展变迁的最不利因素，乡村经济的发展尤其是农产品的商品化和乡村手工业的繁荣是影响集镇发展变迁的最直接内在因素。
Development and Changes of Market Towns around the City during the Process of Urbanization——With the Case of Modern Tianjin Area (1860—1935)

Abstract:
In the process of good economic interaction between Tianjin and surrounding districts and counties in modern times, the market town as its economic exchange transfer station has undergone a series of development changes. Some of the old market towns continued to prosper and some declined; while some new market towns took advantage of the trend and some developed into specialized ones. Location advantage is the most favorable factor affecting the development and changes of market towns; the turbulent situation and even wars are the most unfavorable factors affecting the development and changes of market towns; the development of rural economy, especially the commercialization of agricultural products and the prosperity of rural handicrafts, are the most direct internal factors affecting the development and changes of market towns.
