美学路径新探——丹托论“艺术的终结”

摘要:
美国艺术哲学家阿瑟?丹托于1984年对艺术终结论的重提,意外地引发了强烈的反响。这与丹托所处的时代背景相关,但更大程度上是源于丹托阐发艺术终结论的独特视角。他一方面从分析美学中获得了重新界定艺术的建构性契机,丰富了艺术终结论的内涵;另一方面又沿袭了黑格尔艺术哲学的思考维度,在历史哲学的辩证视野中考察艺术终结的原因。不仅如此,他更以艺术终结论洞察了现代艺术发展的危机所在,使艺术终结论的高潮转向艺术终结之后——美学路径的探究之上,使以感性学为特征的美学回到了聚焦艺术自身的艺术哲学,由此在本体论上为艺术的发展提供更多可能性,也给予人性丰富化和自由化的契机。

A New Probe into Aesthetic Path——Arthur C. Danto on "the End of Art"

Abstract:
In 1984, Arthur C. Danto, an American art philosopher, came up with the theory of "the End of Art", which caused a strong reaction. This is related to the background of Danto's time, but to a greater extent stems from Danto's unique perspective on the conclusion of art. On the one hand, Danto realized the redefinition of art from the perspective of analytic aesthetics, thus enriched the connotation of his theory of "the End of Art". On the other hand, following Hegel's dimension of art philosophy, he sought the causes of "the End of Art" from the perspective of historical philosophy. Furthermore, he also has insight into the crisis of the development of modern art with the theory, turning the climax of the theory of "the End of Art" into a discussion on the issue of constructing new aesthetica, which makes aesthetics characterized by sensibility return to art philosophy concentrating on art itself. Thus provides more ontological possibilities for the development of art and some new opportunity to enrich and liberate human nature.
