以庚子年阴历五月刚毅视察涿州为节点，罗正钧作为地方官员中的主剿派，前期承受着朝廷纵容义和团带来的心理焦虑。他一面尽力遵从朝廷的决策来应对义和团，一方面委婉表达自己的不满；后期罗正钧则成为朝廷政策迁移的牺牲品，既无法获得朝廷的有力支援，又被迫承受团民的激烈报复。庚子事变平息后，他对于整个祸乱招致的过程进行了批判性反思，并影响着他后来的生活轨迹。
The Difficult Responses of the Basic-level Officials in the Gengzi Incident——Centered on Luo Zheng-jun in Dingxing County

Abstract:
Before Gang Yi’s inspection of Zhuozhou in June 1900, Luo Zhengjun, as the main suppression faction among local officials, suffered the anxiety caused by the imperial connivance of the Yihetuan in the early stage. On the one hand, he tried his best to comply with the decision of the court to deal with the Boxers, while expressing his dissatisfaction euphemistically; in the later period, Luo Zhengjun became a victim of the government's policy migration, unable to obtain strong support from the court, and was forced to endure fierce retaliation from the regiment people. After the Gengzi Incident subsided, he critically reflected on the process of the entire disaster, which affected his later life trajectory.
