阿尔贝托·贾柯梅蒂是现代、后现代雕塑家的杰出代表，其雕塑风格迥异，具有三大突出的表现主题：“行走的男人”“触不到的女人”和“垂头丧气的狗”，指向“存在”与“运动”等抽象的哲学范畴。贾柯梅蒂的作品虽然小且“不美”，但揭示了两次世界大战后现代人普遍的生存状态，因此贾柯梅蒂又被誉为艺术界的存在主义大师。
On the Artistic Tension of Alberto Giacometti's Sculptures

Abstract:
Alberto Giacometti is an outstanding representative of modern and post-modern sculptors. His sculptures have highly iconic style. There are three themes of Giacometti's sculptures: "walking man", "untouchable woman" and "dejected dog", conveying the abstract philosophic ideas of "existence" and "motion". Though small and "not beautiful", Giacometti's sculptures have revealed modern people's general living condition after the two World Wars. Therefore people respect Giacometti as the master of existentialism in art circles.
