民国初期的北京是一个存在着剧烈变革、新旧事物承接交替的时代典型。这一时期战乱与天灾频仍，社会救助具有非常强的现实意义。作为民国北京政府所在地，北京地区的社会救助是这一时期社会救助的缩影。这一时期的社会救助机构与组织包括粥厂、收容所、教养机构等慈善场所，政府是社会救济的主要实施者，来自社会上多元的救助方式同样起着非常重要的作用。
Analysis of Social Assistance Institutions in Beijing during the Period of the Beijing Government of the Republic of China

Abstract:
Beijing in the early days of the Republic of China was a typical time in which drastic changes as well as old and new things alternated. In this period of frequent wars and natural disasters, social assistance has a very strong practical significance. As the capital of the Republic of China, the social assistance in Beijing is the epitome of social assistance in the republic of China. During this period, social assistance institutions and organizations included porridge factories, shelters, correctional institutions and other charitable places. The government was the main implementer of social relief, and multiple forms of relief from the society also played a very important role.
