摘要:
老年群体是构筑和谐社会的基石,在形成全民学习、终身学习的学习型社会的进程中,必须重视和加强老年教育工作。在重视英语知识和文化知识的同时,老年英语教育应着重放在提高人的生命素质和生活品质上,教师应采用多种教学手段提升学习者英语知识和技能的含量,增强社区居民终身学习理念,提升老年人幸福感,不断构建和谐社会,推动学习型城市建设。

Study on the Characteristics and Countermeasures of the Elderly English Learning in Community Colleges

Abstract:
The elderly group is the cornerstone of building a harmonious society. in the process of forming a learning society for all people and lifelong learning, we must strengthen and attach importance to the education for the aged. While attaching importance to English knowledge and cultural knowledge, English education for the aged should focus on improving people's life quality and the quality of living. Teachers should adopt a variety of teaching methods to enhance the content of learner's English knowledge and skills and strengthen the community residents' lifelong learning concept, improve the happiness of the elderly, continue to build a harmonious society, and promote the construction of a learning city.
