晚清天津慈善兴起的原因探析

天津早期慈善社团发端于明末直隶巡抚李继贞于崇祯十二年（1639）创办的养济院。清朝建立后，天津作为京畿门户，地位愈加重要，清政府在此相继创建了养济院、育黎堂、天泽会等慈善救济机构。民间也出现了兴办慈善机构的热潮，各种慈善机构为天津贫困人群提供了生活保障。天津慈善社团的兴起有其深刻的社会历史原因，天津地理自然环境和工商业的发展状况、传统儒释道思想及政府官员对慈善都产生着重要的影响。
Analysis of the Reasons for the Rise of Tianjin Charity in the Late Qing Dynasty

Abstract:
The early charity association in Tianjin originated from the Charitable Court founded by Li Ji-zhen, the governor of Zhili in the late Ming Dynasty, in the 12 th year of Chongzhen(1639). After the establishment of the Qing Dynasty, Tianjin became increasingly important as a gateway to Beijing. The Qing Government successively established charity relief agencies such as the Charitable Court, the Yuli Hall, and the Tianze Club. There was also an upsurge in the establishment of charity organizations in the private sector. Various charity organizations provided life support for the poor people in Tianjin. The rise of Tianjin charity organizations has profound social and historical reasons. Tianjin's geographical and natural environment, the development of industry and commerce, traditional Confucianism and Buddhism, and government officials have had an important impact on charity.
