20世纪以来，伴随着近代西方列强的侵略，资本主义生产方式的渗透，自给自足自然经济的缓慢解体，以及战乱频仍、天灾人祸等因素的影响，使得乡村社会明显衰落而陷于严重的危机之中，危机的延续使得乡村问题开始进入公众视野。身处山西乡间的读书人刘大鹏，在日记中对清末民国的乡村社会变迁有着始终的关注，除了传统的危机因素之外，更有着由现代化进程所催生的巨大压力，传统与时代性新因素的结合，使得刘大鹏所生活时代的乡村社会更加衰落，体现了近代晋中地区乡村社会转型的艰难。

Abstract:
Since the twentieth century,with the invasion of modern Western powers,the infiltration of capitalist mode of production,the gradual disintegration of natural economy,and the frequent effects of war,natural disasters and other factors made the rural society clearly declining and caught in a serious crisis.The continuation of the crisis led to a rural problem that began to enter the public eye.Liu Da-peng,agentry in Shanxi's country,had always been concerned about the rural social changes in the late Qing dynasty and the early Republic Period.In addition to the traditional crisis factors,there is a great deal of pressure from the process of modernization,the combination of tradition and new factors,all these make rural society of Liu Da-peng's life time more decline,which reflects the difficult transition of modern Jinzhong rural society.
