摘要：
保定的外语教育肇始于清末莲池书院,各级各类新式学堂繁荣发展,如直隶师范学堂、农务学堂、保定军校等,民初各私立中学、留法勤工俭学预备学校等缓慢发展。保定的外语教育得益于有识之士的提倡,直隶政府的支持,为保定乃至全国培养了许多优秀人才。
On the Foreign Language Education in Baoding during the Late Qing Dynasty and the Early Republic of China

Abstract:
Foreign language education in Baoding got started from the late Qing Dynasty in Lianchi Academy,and then it came into full blossom in a variety of new-style schools at different levels,such as Zhili Normal College,Zhili Agricultural College,Baoding Military College.It continued to develop gradually in some private schools and preliminary schools intended for work-study in France.Wise and sagacious scholars and officials contributed a great deal to its development,and many outstanding talents were fostered here.
