摘要：
冯国璋曾任中华民国副总统、代理大总统,是中国近代史上的一位重要人物。他对中国军队的近代化建设作出了重要贡献,对维护民国初年的共和政体出力颇多,对中国近代城市市政建设进行了初步探索。改革开放以来,大陆学术界对冯国璋的研究取得了不小的成绩,有价值的研究成果不断呈现,彭秀良新著《冯国璋传》就是一个很好的实例。
Feng Guozhang's Status and Contribution in Chinese Modern History——A Review on the New Book The Biography of Feng Guozhang by Peng Xiuliang

Abstract:
Feng Guozhang,once the Vice President and the acting President of the Republic of China,was an important figure in modern Chinese history.He made important contribution to the modernization construction of Chinese army and the maintenance of the early Republican regime.He also conducted initial exploration for the city municipal construction in modern China.Since the reform and opening up,there has been considerable achievement for the academic research of Feng Guozhang in Mainland China.Many valuable research results continue to show,Peng Xiuliang's new book The Biography of Feng Guozhang is a good example.
