20世纪初，晏阳初在河北定县主持的以乡村为单位开展的平民教育运动影响广泛。定县平民教育运动积累了宝贵经验，在大力推进农村社会工作发展的当下.重新审视和研究定县平民教育运动的经验有着巨大的应用价值。归纳和利用这些经验，对当今农村社会工作的发展有着重要启示。

Abstract:
At the beginning of the last century,Yan Yangchu in Ding County,Hebei Province carrying out the civilian education movement with village as a unit had a wide range of impact.The civilian educa-tion in Ding County has accumulated valuable experience.In the current situation of vigorously promoting the development of rural social work,reexamining and studying the experience of the civilian education movement in Ding county has a great application value.Induction and use of this experience has great sig-nificance for promoting the development of rural social work.
