庚子事变中廷雍的表现及遭遇考察

摘要：
在清末"庚子事变"中,护理直隶总督廷雍在省城保定被外国占领者"审判"处死,与随后于辛丑年初在列强胁迫下由清方自行处死的"祸首"人物毓贤,同为被指纵容反教"灭洋"而被处极刑的地方大员。而廷雍实际上并没有像毓贤那样迷狂地支持反教"灭洋"的表现,言论行为上基本是随清廷的态度转移而已。其最后遭遇,是在外国方面向清方施行报复、示威和侮辱的特别恶举中,做了无奈的牺牲品。通过对其人相关情况的具体考察,可借以观照他的特定"角色标本"状貌。
Study of Ting Yong's Performance and Calamity during the Boxer Incident

Abstract:
During the "Boxer Incident" in the late Qing Dynasty,the Zhili Governor Ting Yong was "trialed" to death by foreign occupiers in the provincial capital Baoding.The early next year the Qing Government put one of the Boxer powers Yu Xian to death.Both were the local leading officials with death penalty accused of conniving with the crime of anti-clericalism and "killing foreigners".However,Ting Yong was actually not as fanatically as Yu Xian to support the action of anti-clericalism and "killing foreigners".His speech and acts were basically to transfer with the Qing court's attitude only.Therefore,his last calamity was a helpless victim of the foreign demonstration of evil act of vengeance and insults.Through specific investigation of his related circumstances,contemplation of his specific "role specimens" can be drawn out.
