“三维转换”视域下《孙子兵法》哲学思想英译路径——以安乐哲译本为例

摘要：
《孙子兵法》蕴含丰富的哲学思想，安乐哲译本对其有着深度的阐释。从底层哲学思想出发，探析安乐哲译本中辩证思维、整体观与系统观、自我观与道德观的哲学根基，以生态翻译学为理论框架，通过语言维、文化维和交际维三个维度，解析安乐哲在传达《孙子兵法》中哲学思想的英译过程。安乐哲在翻译过程中不仅注重语言层面的精准传达，保留中国传统哲学的文化特色，还充分考虑目标语读者的接受度。上述探讨可为《孙子兵法》及其他中国古典哲学经典的文化外译提供相对前沿的理论视角和实践指导，促进中华传统哲学思想的交流与传播。
English Translation Approaches to Philosophical Thought in The Art of War from the Perspective of “Three-Dimensional Transformation”——A Case Study of Roger T. Ames' Version

Abstract:
The masterpiece Sun Tzu: The Art of War is imbued with profound philosophical thoughts, and Roger T. Ames' translation offers a deep interpretation of these concepts. Starting from the underlying philosophical thoughts, this paper analyzes the philosophical foundation of dialectical thinking, holistic and systematic views, self-concept and moral view in Roger T. Ames' translation. Employing the “Three-Dimensional Transformation” theory of eco-translatology as a framework, this paper explores Ames' translation process of the philosophical thoughts in Sun Tzu: The Art of War from linguistic, cultural, and communicative dimensions. Ames not only emphasizes linguistic accuracy by preserving the cultural essence of traditional Chinese philosophy, but also carefully considers the target readers' acceptability. This paper aims to provide a relatively advanced theoretical perspective and practical guidance for translating Sun Tzu: The Art of War and other classical Chinese philosophical books, with the goal of promoting the exchange and dissemination of traditional Chinese philosophy.
