摘要:
成人终身学习参与对个体和社会发展的作用及影响,是国际终身学习和成人教育研究的核心议题。志愿服务被视为社会文明进步的标志,是公民参与的常用测量指标。研究中尚缺乏基于我国成人数据对终身学习与志愿服务关系的探究。通过问卷调查法,以我国北京市4 861名成人为样本,采用多元逻辑回归分析,探讨了成人终身学习参与和志愿服务意愿及行为的关联。研究发现:整体而言,成人终身学习参与对志愿服务具有显著正向影响;不同终身学习参与类型对志愿服务态度、行为的影响存在差异性;受教育程度、终身学习态度能显著正向预测志愿服务。建议超越工具主义的终身学习认识论,开展融合理论视域的研究与实践,推进我国成人终身学习的持续监测。

Does Adult Participation in Lifelong Learning Promote Volunteer Service?——An Analysis Based on the Data of a Lifelong Learning Survey of 4 861 Adults in Beijing

Abstract:
The influence of adult lifelong learning on individual and social development is a crucial issue in international lifelong learning and adult education research. Volunteer service is regarded as a sign of social civilization and progress, and it is a commonly used measurement index of citizen participation. There is still a lack of research on the relationship between lifelong learning and volunteer service based on adult data in China. Through questionnaire survey, taking 4 861 adults in Beijing as samples, and adopting multiple logistic regression analysis, the study discusses the relationship between adult lifelong learning participation and willingness and behavior of volunteer service. The results show that: On the whole, adult lifelong learning participation has a significant positive impact on volunteer service; Different types of lifelong learning participation have different effects on the attitude and behavior of volunteer service; Education level and lifelong learning attitude can significantly positively predict volunteer service. It is suggested that we should transcend the instrumentalism of lifelong learning epistemology, carry out research and practice from the perspective of integration theory, and promote the continuous monitoring of adult lifelong learning in China.
