津沽大学是河北献县耶稣会创办的一所教会大学。作为一所高等教育机构,津沽大学不仅引进西方先进的教育制度,还形成了实事求是、开拓创新、育才树人、服务社会的科学教育理念,对中国近代教育事业产生了积极影响。它在人才培养、学科建设、教学管理和服务社会等方面探索的独特教育思想和理念为中国高等教育提供了可资借鉴的经验。
Discussion on the Educational Ideology of Jingu University

Abstract:
Jingu University was a missionary university established by the Society of Jesus in Xianxian County,Hebei province.As a higher educational institution,Jingu University not only introduced the western advanced educational system,but also formed the scientific educational ideology of seeking the truth from the facts,being pioneering and innovative,cultivating moral intellectuals and serving the socie ty,exerting positive influence on China'S modern educational cause.Its unique educational ideology of feted US valuable 1essons that merit our attention in the perspectives of talent developing,construction of disciplines,management of teaching and service of the society.
