晋察冀民兵是在共产党的动员和领导下建立和壮大起来的不脱离生产的群众武装。民兵的任务是进行游击战、配合部队作战和担任抗战勤务。民兵的军事战术有麻雀战、地雷战、地道战、扭击战和伏击战等。在民兵队伍中,由于有党的政治动员、党员的带头作用、有组织的军事政治教育和组织的民主性等原因,民兵成为打败日寇的重要力量,同时民兵也是主力军与游击队的助手,是主力军的重要兵源。

Abstract:
The militia of Jin-Cha-Ji border area was the armed masses without departing from the production, which was established and grew under the leadership of the Party.Its mission was to carry out guerrilla warfare,cooperate with the troops and act as war service.It had many tactics,such as sparrow warfare,mine warfare,tunnel warfare,torsional warfare and ambush operation.Due to the Party's political mobilization and the Party members' leading role,with organized military and political education and democratic nature of the organization,the militia was not only an important force to beat the Japanese,but also assistant of the main force and the guerrillas,and the important sources for the recruits of the main force troops.
