1928年成立的华北水利委员会是以科学方法进行水利建设的新式水利行政机构,主要负责华北防洪、灌溉、航运、水力及其他水利工程事宜。该会成立后在华北水利测量、水资源勘测,以及引水灌溉工程建设方面做了大量工作,为制定水利计划、进行水利工程建设、改善华北水环境打下了良好的基础。

Abstract:
The North China River Commission,established in 1928and based on scientific methods of water conservancy construction,was a new water conservancy administrative institution responsible for the northern flood control,irrigation,navigation,hydropower and other water conservancy projects.The committee devoted substantial work in the aspects of North China water measurement,water conservancy survey and construction of irrigation projects,which laid a good foundation for the development of water conservation plans,construction of water conservancy project and the improvement of the water environment in North China.
